CLUB NOTES 4th March 2005 Name your square: To date this initiative has been a great success and there was a huge surge in demand for tickets last week. Due to circumstances beyond our control it is not possible to go ahead with the Name Your Square Draw on Friday Night. Despite our best efforts there are still tickets outstanding. The draw will now take place at the Presentation Night in the Community Centre on May 20th Lotto: Congratulations to Una Kilpatrick winner of the Lotto jackpot. Winning numbers drawn were 1, 3, 6 & 9. Five 20 euro winners were as follows: Darren Hanratty, Corduff, Sharon Hanratty, Corduff, James McGivney, C/O P. K. Vincent Hanratty, Corduff, Mary Marron, Sreenty. Next week's jackpot starts off at 1,000 euros. Thanks for your continued support for the weekly Alotto. League: We collected two valuable points in the opening game of the league campaign with a win over Blackhill last Sunday. Membership: fees are now due and can be paid to any committee member. Gala Dinner: Once again last Friday night's Gala Dinner was an outstanding success. Special guests included Darragh O Sé, William Kirby and Joe Kieran. M.C. for the night was Adrian Logan, who conducted a very lively Question and Answer session on the new playing rules. Juveniles: The Minor team have their first outing against Doohamlet on Tuesday 29th at 6.45 pm. And the U-16's get their league campaign underway on April 1st with a home match against Killanny. Condolence: The club would like to extend sincere sympathy to committee member Eithne Malone and players Shane and Ciaran Malone on the death of Eithne's mother Eileen O Leary, Corlattylennon who passed away last Sunday. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. As a mark of respect this week's Alotto was postponed. Wedding Bells: Congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy future together to Raymond Byrne and Lorraine Mee who were married recently.
