I We now have two full size Prunty Pitches that should ensure the future of Gaelic football in Corduff for generations to come. Lighting around the training pitch is in place and the foundation of the running track has been laid.

The extended terracing means we can now cater for up to 4,000 spectators and we look forward to hosting some major fixtures in the not too distant future.

Reserve League: Last Wednesday night our reserve team booked there place in the semi final of the league with a one point win over Emyvale in Doohamlet. The game was tight throughout even after a neat penalty kick by Padraig Gollogly  after Seamus Mc Enaney was fouled in the box. Emyvale pulled back the difference and the sides went in level at half time. Emyvale pushed hard for a goal in the second half but they were denied with some great work from Shane Mc Nally, Padraig Connolly, Paddy Mc Mahon .Corduff controlled the game in mid field with 2 contenders for man of the match Frank Mc Enaney and Colm Marron. Corduff ended the game strong with some surging runs and fantastic points from the like of Shane Mc Nally,  Niall Reilly and Noel Crosson, we came out victorious and booked our place in the semi final.

Corduff Ladies GFC

The Senior team played Anaghmullen in the League on Friday last. A
scoreboard of 1-10 to 5 points to the Corduff Ladies after a
satisfying performance sees that we go forward to the semi-final of
the League.

U-12s have training on Monday at 6.30. U-16s and Minor training is
Tuesday at 6.15.

There will be a minor match on this Thursday 19th at 7.15 in Corduff,
contact management for further details.

Hard luck to the U-12 girls who were beaten by Carrick on Saturday.

The U-16 team played Eire Óg this week in a 13-a-side competition.
They put on an outstanding performance, playing part of the match with
just 11 players and finishing with 12 players. They were beaten by
only 2 points in the end.
