Corduff Ladies:
U12- Congratulations to the
girls who recently defeated Tyholland in the final. The team put
in a superb performance to overcome a tough side. The score
board showed a deficit of one point at half time. However some
inspiration from captain Eva Woods, and team mentors seemed to
do the trick. The girls battled to the very end, eventually
winning by two points. Player of the match was awarded to
Nicole Carragher. Well done. A huge thanks to the team
management Colleen Callan, Laura Mc Enaney and Ashling Callan.
Also the presence of a great supporting crowd helped to spur the
girls on. Thanks to all who attended. It is hoped that there
will be an evening of presentations to celebrate the teams
success. Details to come.
Minors - Also won their most
recent match, well done! They played Doohamlet, and again
another great performance from the team seen them come out
triumphant.
Seniors - are currently awaiting a date for the league
final. Despite the typical October weather training continues
weekly and all members are asked to give a good effort to
attend.
Speedy Recovery- we send our
best wishes to team mentor Conor Comiskey who is recovering from
a recent accident. Get well soon.

- Training Thursday at 7pm. All new members welcome.
U 12 -
Hard luck last Saturday. Training continues on Thursday at 7pm,
it is very important that everyone attends.
Seniors -
Congratulations to the girls who beat off competition from
Scotstown in the semi-final of the league last Sunday. It would
have been very easy to put the heads down at half time when we
were at a 2point deficit. However the girls settled into it a
bit better and the final score board showed a 1-9 to 1-7 win for
the Gaels. Thanks to our supporters and those who provided tea
and sandwiches for the teams and officials afterwards.
Speedy recovery -
we hope to have Louise Byrne back on top form very soon. She was
injured in the semi-final on Sunday last in a great effort to
block a goal in the final minutes.
Well done -
to all of the girls who recieved Junior Certificate results
recently.
