To celebrate the success of the club, there will be a presentation night on Friday the 6th of February for all players, team mentors and supporters. There will be various presentations including medals and trophies and all of the silverware for the year will be on display. Celebrations will take place in the centre, with the promise of good food and music. Entry will be €10 for under 14's and €20 for those who are older than this. Everyone is most welcome whether a player, mentor or supporter
AGM: The A.G.M was held on Tuesday 9th December. Seamus Mc Enaney as outgoing Chairman opened the meeting by welcoming everyone. Maureen Campbell then gave a very detailed Secretary report which outlined the successes of all teams. This was followed by the Chairman's address in which he thanked everyone that helped throughout the year including Team Mentors, Players, Committee, stewards and especially lotto Sellers as our lotto provides for the day to day running of our club. The Treasures report was then explained. It was then time for the election of officers. Chairman: Michael Mc Cabe, Assistant Chairman: Seamus Mc Connon, Secretary: Maureen Campbell, Assistant Secretary: Fergus Traynor, Treasurer: Eileen Keenan, Assistant Treasurer Padraig Mc Enaney, Youth Officer: Mary Woods, P.R.O: Karen Keenan, Language Officer Mark Gilsenan. It was then awards time with Gerry Mee receiving Player of the Year and Maureen Campbell receiving Club Person of the Year. The first committee meeting took place last Tuesday nigh where the committee was elected. The 2009 committee is Declan Callan, Tom Fox, John Marron, Eithne Malone, Michael Mc Nally, Pat Kelly, Vicent Hanratty, Donal Mc Mahon, Lorcan Woods, Martin Mc Nally, Gerry Marron, Pat Mc Enaney, Frank Mc Enaney, Raymond Courtney, Paddy Mc Enaney, Kevin Mc Cluskey and David Smyth. Coaching Courses: Award 1 ( Foundation Football) coaching course takes place on Friday 30th January and Saturday 31st January.
