March 27th 2009 Reserve Football League: Our Reserve team had a good win over Eire Og last Sunday. This was a great team performance from start to finish. Final Score Corduff 1-14 Eire Og 1-08Upcoming Fixtures: This weekend we are due to play Sean Mac Diarmada on Sunday 29th March at 11.30am. Check with management as changes may occur. On Monday 13th April we play Truagh at home Throw in 7pm. Intermediate Football League: Our first game is against neighbours Aughnamullen on Sunday 5th April in Aughnamullen at 2.30. Minor League: We start our league off on Tuesday 7th April against Rockcorry at home Throw in 7pm. We then play Inniskeen away on Tuesday 14th April at 7pm. Under 1 : We make the journey to Rockcorry this Saturday, for the second game of the season. Throw in 2pm. Under 16: Training continues as arranged with management. Our first game is on Friday 17th April against Scotstown B at home Under 14: We were due to play Fergal O Hanlons last Saturday but Fergal O Hanlons did not field and Corduff were awarded the points. Fundraising: Former Player and clubman Patsy the Gale Mc Nally along with Pauric Ruth is taking part in a 50-mile cycle on Easter Monday. They will travel to 5 counties with the route taking in Carrick, Culloville, Inniskeen, Louth Village, and Kingscourt. This is in aid of worthy causes including Steadfast House, which cares for people with special needs. All support is greatly received; any queries please contact Patsy or Pauric. Jerseys: As the season start off again a call to all players please return all jerseys as full set are needed in all competitions or the club may be fined. Membership: Membership is now due for 2009. It is particularly important for all players to register early, as they will not be covered for insurance unless they are registered members.
