Friday 26th of February 2010 Monster 25 Card Drive: The Corduff club is delighted to announce that heats are currently taking place for our Monster 25 Card drive. Heats are being run in the locality and surrounding areas in the coming week and the winners of the heats play in the grand final on Sunday 14th March in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre were there will be €7500 in prizes to be won. Or individuals can buy tickets for the Grand Final at a cost of €140 from any committee member and anyone who would like to host a heat please contact Padraig Mc Enaney 0872987262 Juvenile Registration Night: The Corduff club has organised a registration evening on Tuesday 2nd March. This evening is necessary as all players from Under 16,14,12,10 and under 8’s. All players have to be registered to train and play games for insurance reasons. It will be necessary for all our young players U-16 downwards to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to ensure all required signatures are obtained. It is also important that managers and mentors are aware of medical conditions. Juvenile membership will also be payable on that evening. Membership fees which include insurance costs for 2010 are €10 for the first child and €5 per subsequent child. All players and parents are asked to attend on Tuesday 2nd March in the dressing rooms between 8pm to 9pm. Then on Sunday March 14th we take on Cremartin away at 3pm.On Saturday the 20th March we then travel to Tyholland for a game at 4pm. We finish the month on Saturday 27th at home to neighbours Donaghmoyne. Underage Fixtures: Our Under 12 team starts their campaign on 20th March, our Under 14 team starts on 10th April and our Under 16 kicks off on 1st April. The only way we can do this is through our Club lotto, this is the main source of finance for the day to day running of the club, and its helps buy the footballs, bibs, water bottles and the upkeep of our brilliant facilities that all our members and players use. Help is currently needed with selling tickets within the area and selling tickets in Carrickmacross.
