Then on Sunday we travelled to Drumhowan to take on Oram, we were beaten on a score line of Corduff 1-08 Oram 2-06. After some very tough encounters we came out winners in our three games against Cremartin, Drumhowan and Doohamlet. The teams shared the points on a score line Corduff 0-11 Sean Mc Dermotts 1-08. Then on Sunday we travelled to Kilanny. Kilanny got off the mark first before Aidan Marron levelled the score. The teams exchanged points in the first half leaving the half time score Corduff 0-04 Killanny 0-05. Within 4 minutes of the restart the sides were level thanks to points from Shane Connolly and Shane Mc Nally Jnr. Corduff then went on to score 7 unanswered points within the 9th and 19th minute. This was due to some great team work and brilliant scores. Friday 9th of April Reserve Football League: Last Sunday we welcomed Doohmalet to Corduff. Corduff got off to a great start registering four points before Doohmalet got off the mark, the last of Corduff points coming after a great team move finished by Noel Crosson in the 14th Minute. Doohamlet then went on to score 3 unanswered points before Corduff responded with a Brendan Mc Nally point in the 29th Minute. Corduff lead was due to some brilliant defending from the Corduff backs as well as the accurate shooting of the forwards. Corduff added another point to the scoreboard to leave the half time score Corduff 0-06 Doohamlet 0-03. The teams exchanged score on the opening minutes of the second half with Corduff’s points coming from Brendan Mc Nally, Brendan Kerley and Lee Mc Garell. Then Corduff was dealt a major blow when Doohamlet hit the Corduff net in the 21st minute to level the game and they went on to take the lead when they registered a point in the 21st minute, Corduff responded with a point in the 28th minute again Doohamlet took the lead with a point in the 29th minute, a Aidan Marron goal in the last minute assured Corduff took the points on a scoreline of Corduff 1-11 Doohamlet 1-09 Upcoming Fixtures: Next Tuesday 13th April we welcome Killanny to Corduff in the Minor League with a throw in time of 6.45.
