Junior Football League: Last week we had mixed fortunes in the Junior league on Wednesday we entertained Clones in Corduff; we came out victorious on a score line Corduff 0-14 Clones 1-08. Then on Sunday we travelled to Drumhowan to take on Oram, we were beaten on a score line of Corduff 1-08 Oram 2-06.

Reserve Football League: Drumhowan travelled to Corduff last Friday night, after a tough and close encounter the visitors went away with the two points on a score line Corduff 1-08 Drumhowan 1-10

Heart Peat Junior Football Championship: We take on Fergal O’ Hanlons in the Preliminary round of the Junior Championship on Thursday 27^th May in Blackhill at 7.45pm.

Under 8 Training: Under 8 training continues this Saturday at 10am in Corduff.

Under 10 Training: Last Saturday we took part in the Go Games in Cremartin. After some very tough encounters we came out winners in our three games against Cremartin, Drumhowan and Doohamlet. The Corduff team was James Walsh, Conal Reynolds, Jarradj Wenham, Adam Garvey, Jamie King, Dylan Finnegan, Cian Callan, Jordon Mc Garrell and Mark Keenan. Training continues this Saturday at 11am.

Under 14 League: Our Next game is on Saturday 8^th May when Cremartin visit Corduff.

Under 16: This evening Thursday we take on Magheracloone at home. All support needed.

Under 12: This Saturday the 1^st May we travel to Clontibret. Please come along and support these stars of the future

Minor League: Last Tuesday 20^th we came out victorious over neighbours Carrick. Last Tuesday 27^th we welcomed Magheracloone to Corduff. Next Tuesday 4^th May we welcome Sean Mc Dermotts to Corduff. All support needed.

Lá na gClub : Following the success of last year’s La nag Club, the GAA have set Sunday May 9^th as the 2010 Lá na gClub.

Junior Football League:

We got our Junior league campaign underway last Wednesday night when we welcomed Sean Mc Dermotts to Corduff . The teams shared the points on a score line Corduff 0-11 Sean Mc Dermotts 1-08. Then on Sunday we travelled to Kilanny.

Kilanny got off the mark first before Aidan Marron levelled the score. The teams exchanged points in the first half leaving the half time score Corduff 0-04 Killanny 0-05. Within 4 minutes of the restart the sides were level thanks to points from Shane Connolly and Shane Mc Nally Jnr. Corduff then went on to score 7 unanswered points within the 9^th and 19^th minute. This was due to some great team work and brilliant scores. We ran out winners in the end on a score line of Corduff 0-14 Kilanny 0-09

Calling all girls from tiny tots to U12's in the Corduff/ Raferagh area! Do you play football? Would you like to join a club and have fun while learning the skills of the game? Forms have been distributed to all primary school girls in the Corduff/Raferagh area and there has been a great response. Senior Ladies: Last Sunday the Corduff ladies began their league campaign against magheracloone. They were unfortunate to lose out by a narrow margin. The girls battled hard for every ball all over the field. They got off to a slippery start but really put it up to them as the game progressed. Watch this space for their next game. Upcoming Fixtures: This Sunday 18th our senior team travel to Killanny for throw in 3pm. On Tuesday 20^th April our minors take on Carrick away. Then our seniors when they take on Clones at home on Wednesday 21^st.   On Friday the 23^rd we take on Drumhowan at home in the reserve league. On Sunday 25^th we take on Oram at home in the Junior league. Then on Tuesday 27^th our minor team takes on Magheracloone at home

Under 16: Our under 16 made a great come back last Thursday evening against Sean Mc Dermotts, but the visitors came out winners by the minimum of margins. Tonight Thursday we take on neighbours Donaghmoyne at home

Minor League: Last Tuesday our minor team got off to the perfect start in their league campaign when they overcame Colmcilles a combination of Toome and Inniskeen. Last Tuesday we welcomed Killanny to Corduff. Next Tuesday 20^th April we take on neighbours Carrick away. All support needed.

Corduff  Ladies  Club:

Deepest Sympathy: Corduff Ladies GFC would like to extend their deepest sympathies to the Patton family on the death of Katherine (Julia) Patton.

Registration : Our registration night is on this Friday the 16th of April at 7 - 9 pm.  Any player that would like to play for Corduff Ladies this year must attend.  Fees are as follows: U 10 - €18.50, U 12 - U18 - €33.50, Senior - €48.50, Committee member - €23.50.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

Monaghan Ladies: Commiserations to the Monaghan Senior Ladies on their 3 point loss to Galway on Sunday the 11th of April. However, they still reach a semi-final and they will be up against the rebel county of Cork. Date and time has yet to be decided.

Friday 9th of April

Reserve Football League: Last Sunday we welcomed Doohmalet to Corduff. Corduff got off to a great start registering four points before Doohmalet got off the mark, the last of Corduff points coming after a great team move finished by Noel Crosson in the 14^th Minute. Doohamlet then went on to score 3 unanswered points before Corduff responded with a Brendan Mc Nally point in the 29^th Minute. Corduff lead was due to some brilliant defending from the Corduff backs as well as the accurate shooting of the forwards. Corduff added another point to the scoreboard to leave the half time score Corduff 0-06 Doohamlet 0-03. The teams exchanged score on the opening minutes of the second half with Corduff’s points coming from Brendan Mc Nally, Brendan Kerley and Lee Mc Garell. Then Corduff was dealt a major blow when Doohamlet hit the Corduff net in the 21^st minute to level the game and they went on to take the lead when they registered a point in the 21^st minute, Corduff responded with a point in the 28^th minute again Doohamlet took the lead with a point in the 29^th minute, a Aidan Marron goal in the last minute assured Corduff took the points on a scoreline of Corduff 1-11 Doohamlet 1-09

Under 12: Our Under 12 team maintained their 100% record last Saturday when they came out victorious over a strong Cremartin team. Our next game is on Saturday 17^th April when we welcome Magheracloone to Corduff.

Minor League: Our opening game of the minor league fell victim to the weather last Tuesday 30^th March, this game is rescheduled for later in the season. We opened our campaign against Colmcilles a combination of Toome and Inniskeen last Tuesday 6^th. See report next week. Next Tuesday the 13 April we welcome Killanny to Corduff. All support needed
