Corduff has been involved in the GAA from the beginning. Around 1890 a team called Corduff O Sullivan's mountaineers existed but other than the name no other information is available. The club as we know it today came into being in 1968 and played at various locations - The Pope's Field, Mc Cahey's Meadow and Nelson's. In 1993 our first home pitch was opened. For its time it was a state of the art facility catering for one team. Today the club has grown to such an extent that it caters for all age groups from U-10 upwards at competitive level and the present facilities are no longer adequate. In 2004 a Development Committee was set up under the chairmanship of Seamus Mc Enaney with a view to drawing up a five year development plan to meet the club's needs in the future. This committee embarked on a very ambitious plan to construct two new Prunty pitches, a running track and a three tier complex with new changing rooms, a gymnasium and conference room. Such a development does not come cheap and the development committee has worked tirelessly to raise the necessary funding. In 2004 three major fundraising events were held - a Gala Sportsperson's Dinner in March which was a tremendous success and got the fund off to a great start. This was followed by a Race Night in Mullingar in May and a Golf Classic in July
