Pairc Gaelacht Corr Dubh

We now have two full size Prunty Pitches that should ensure the future of Gaelic football in Corduff for generations to come. Lighting around the training pitch is in place and the foundation of the running track has been laid.

The extended terracing means we can now cater for up to 4,000 spectators and we look forward to hosting some major fixtures in the not too distant future.

    Corduff Intermediate Team:

Mission: To Be The Best We Can Be

Corduff Gaels G.F.C was formed in 1968 and played in Nelson's Meadow. They played in many venues before opening their field behind the community centre in 1983. They remained here before a complete redevelopment in 2006. Their new facilities consist of 2 full-size Prunty Pitches (1 flood-lit), and a viewing area to facilitate 4000 people. Corduff won their first competitive competition in 1987 when winning the Dr.Ward Cup and they repeated this in 1993, when they also won the Junior Championship. In 1998, they won the Intermediate Championship earning their place in the senior ranks for the very first time. In 2002, they were Junior Champions again, and went on to win the Ulster Club title in 2003. 2005, saw them win the Dr.Ward Cup while 2010 saw the club regain the Junior Championship after a replay against Cremartin!

The Corduff Ladies club had a very successful 2009, which saw them claim the Monaghan Junior Championship for the very first time. Their season got even better when they were crowned Ulster Champions in October. This was followed by a memorable trip to London and a trip to Cork where they lost to eventual champions, Clonakilty.
